Mrs Harrison & I had the pleasure of coaching 3 teams to the ADISR Netball Competition –hosted by IIL in Geneva. We are very proud of the results and the attitude of the Yr. 4-9 girls who represented ISL yesterday for the first time in this competition.
 
The rain stayed away and the oranges were in abundance making for great netball conditions – however all teams were still challenged by non-standard court sizes and lines. The attitude and flexibility of our girls to deal with the change – put them clearly ahead of or on par with competition. This attitude combined with the continuous improvement in the quality of their game that was once again witnessed, lead to what was a very successful competition – resulting in  the following:
Benjamine 2 –0, 1-3, 3-0, 8-0 earning them 2nd place!
Mimine 6-1, 8-0, 5 –7, 7,3 earning them 3rd place!
Juniors 7-4, 8-1 taking them to the final against LGB 2-6 earning them 2nd place!
 
Congratulations Girls. Thanks parents for your support and we look forward to continuing to foster excitement around Netball in ISL through continued inter-school involvement.
