Cafeteria Services

Cafeteria services are available at ISL with hot meals provided at lunch time.

NOVAE, a local catering company of excellent repute, provides nutritious, well-balanced meals at competitive prices. Adherence to the Swiss "Fourchette verte junior" (Green Fork Junior) programme further guarantees the quality of the food on offer.

Students have the possibility of subscribing to a given number of hot meals per term. For Secondary School students there is a choice of meals and snacks. In line with the principal that food should be an integral part of the educational programme, special care is given to promote good eating habits. For this reason, no soft drinks with high sugar content, no candy or confectionary bars are on sale.

Meal times are according to the following schedule, including for those who bring their own lunch and who will eat at the same tables as their fellow students:

Early Childhood

Students are served at 11.30 in the multipurpose room of the Primary School building.

Primary School

Students will be served a single hot menu (starter, main course and desert) at table during two sittings:
Year 1 to Year 3 at 11.30
Year 4 to Year 6 at 12.00

Secondary School

Students will access the self-service area and will have the choice of three menus (same hot meal as Primary School, pizza or pasta), as well as a variety of snacks.
