Art
Art is central to a child’s learning and development in early childhood. Children are able to communicate thoughts and feelings through art before they develop more conventional forms of expressing ideas and emotions. Art forms an important part of teaching the curriculum. While helping to develop their fine motor skills and spatial awareness, it also gives the opportunity for children to examine, discuss and accept their own work and that of others. Students are given the time, freedom and opportunity to be creative.
