ISL seeks dynamic and qualified teachers to give home-language lessons to small groups of two to six native speakers. Contact time may be between one to three hours per week depending on student enrolment. Sessions start at 15:45 onwards.

Qualifications and qualities required

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experienced in teaching children
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons which stimulate and motivate students
  • Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness
  • Adaptability, flexibility, dynamism, and a sense of humour
  • Commitment to self-reflection and professional development
  • Ability to communicate well in English
