Academic year 2020-2021: ISL's response to COVID-19.

Zoe, French

Student

Originally from France, Zoé has had the opportunity of living in several countries, France, England, and Denmark. She is currently finishing her IB diploma at ISL. “At first, when I visited this school, what convinced me to go to ISL was the Cafeteria in the North Campus. However, once I started my first days, I discovered that there is so much more to ISL. This school not only upholds values that teach the students the way to behave in society, but also promotes a safe learning environment where one can speak their mind. It is in that same safe environment that individuals can grow to become who they want to be. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities and resources that this school has given me, allowing me to develop as a person and artist. This is currently my fifth and last year at this school. Undoubtedly, it makes me sad to say goodbye to ISL, as well as my teachers and friends that have helped me to improve throughout the years. Closing this chapter of my life will be hard, but I will keep these wonderful memories close to my heart. I would like to conclude this off by saying that I have been to many schools growing up, and I can say with certainty that there is no other place that I would have rather spent these last five years. I am lucky to call ISL my school and be part of such a diverse and amazing community, and I can only hope that you will have that same opportunity.”
