Ayana, American

My name is Ayana Challagalla and I moved to ISL going into Year 6. When I first moved here from the US, I was nervous because I had never moved anywhere, let alone across the world. However, within the first week, I felt included in the ISL community and was quickly able to adjust to the school. Now I am in Year 11, and ISL is like my second home. The teachers are caring and open-minded, the students are incredibly diverse and talented, and I have made friends here who I consider family. I know when the time comes, it will be very difficult to say goodbye to ISL and all the amazing memories I’ve made.
