The third annual "Women in Science" lecture and luncheon took place on Thursday 2 October 2014. Several members of the ISL community were involved with the organising committee, working with the Université de Lausanne (UNIL) to connect the public with important research in genetics and biology. This particular event helps to support community education, public lectures, scholarships for women researchers and educational programmes for children.
A double congratulations to the Cat B Girls' and Cat B Boys' teams on their first-place victories in the early October tournaments.
Our 2014 graduates are now off on their way in the world embarking on new adventures and pursuits. ISL would like to commend the graduates for their tremendous class spirit, active involvement in the community, extra-curricular activities, dedication to the service of others, and their mean score of 34.5 on the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
