As part of our regular features highlighting our International School of Lausanne Alumni & Friends Community, Nora (Class of 2014) has shared her journey from a “bridge swinging” ISL student, to a successful entrepreneur, whose company’s goal is to promote her clients’ self-confidence and health.

Deciding on my favourite ISL moment was a delightful trip down memory lane. From conquering my fear of heights through bridge swinging on a school trip, performing in plays and musicals, meeting friends that I’ll keep for life, to my favourite French classes with Mr. Fazan.

Thinking of my time at ISL truly put a smile on my face. I’m very grateful for all the fond memories and I’ll cherish them forever.

After graduating in 2014, I went on to study Hospitality Management at EHL Hospitality Business School. Throughout my studies I had the opportunity to intern at leading hospitality companies in Barcelona and Hong Kong. During my final academic year, I realised that I wanted to follow a more entrepreneurial path and decided to complement my Bachelor’s degree with a Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Esade Business School in Barcelona.

I moved to Zürich shortly upon completion of my master’s, where I started working on my first venture – Haute Contour. After hard work, dedication, and the entrepreneurial skills I acquired over the years, I combined my passion for the beauty industry with my keen interest in innovation.

Haute Contour is the first of its kind facial gym in Switzerland. We offer natural face movement sessions through pop-up events and an online community platform to help individuals feel more confident. Haute Contour also offers skincare tools and will soon also launch a new product line. You can find out more on our website hautecontour.ch or on our social media accounts @hautecontour.ch
