Our curriculum at ISL prepares children for the complexities and uncertainties of our multicultural, interdependent world so that they can contribute positively. ISL is an IB World School, and we therefore offer the International Baccalaureate Programmes, the PYP, MYP and DP. Concurrently, the well-being curriculum is delivered using the CASEL framework.

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a curriculum framework for students aged 3 to 11 years old. The PYP transdisciplinary framework focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both at school and beyond. Through our rich programme of learning, students at ISL will develop academic, social and emotional wellbeing, focusing on international-mindedness and strong personal values.

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an international curriculum designed for students aged 11 to 16. The MYP helps our students develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world. The programme allows children to build on their personal strengths and to embrace challenges in subjects in which they do not excel.

The Diploma Programme (DP) is designed for students from the age of 16 to 18. This programme at ISL aims to provide students with an opportunity to study a broad and varied range of subjects, whilst providing them with the depth of knowledge and skills necessary to progress to higher education.

The CASEL framework for Social and Emotional Learning aims to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge across the five key competencies of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making. Learning occurs in a variety of settings so that our students develop healthy identities and interact positively with those around them.
