Students at ISL experience an Individual and Societies (Humanities) program that provides opportunities to understand the world they live in through a range of lenses, both local and global. They will develop the knowledge and skills to investigate, interpret and appreciate historical, geographical, political, economic, and cultural factors that influence individuals, societies, and environments. The program requires students to think critically; inquire into different perspectives; and develop the compassion and drive to take responsibility to effect positive, sustainable change in their communities and the wider world.
