Library International School of Lausanne
We have a large library in our North Building with many different resources for our students. This is also a space for independent work for our secondary school students.
Cafeteria room at International School of Lausanne
We offer the opportunity for students to have a hot meal at lunch in our cafeteria, prepared by Novae. Students are also more than welcome to bring their own lunches to school which they will eat with their classmates.

The North Building is for all students, however split into a section for primary school and a different one for secondary school students. Our school day starts at 08:25 and ends at 15:40, with several outdoor breaks in between.
We strongly believe in the importance of being outside, taking breaks and having time to play with friends. The primary school students have three outdoor breaks throughout their day, and secondary school students have two breaks. ISL has a large playground, a basketball field, tennis courts, and football pitch.
Secondary School Students
The South Building is mainly used by our secondary school students. In this building the students have their maths, arts, design and science classes. The South Building provides lots of spaces for students to work independently and also has a Café for the older students.
At ISL, the well-being of our students is our highest priority. We aim to make sure all students are happy and healthy. We have student counsellors, academic coaches, and nurses on campus at all times.
Plastic arts at International School of Lausanne
Our school day does not end after classes as we encourage our students to participate in our After-School Activities programme. ISL has over 120 activities organised from 15:40 to 18:00 for our students. Activities include for example: cooking, yoga, beekeeping, basketball, and LEGO building.
We care about our community and organise events throughout the year to bring everyone together. Some events include, International Day, the Spring Fair, Sports Day, Wacky Week, Music Concerts, and Art Exhibitions.
