Vision
To inspire every ISL student to thrive beyond the classroom as a confident, caring, and internationally-minded individual.
Mission
To enrich learning and well-being through an inclusive and high-quality co-curricular programme that reflects ISL values of honesty, respect, self-control, equity, and care and concern for others.
Our Objectives
- To offer high-quality opportunities for students to engage in a breadth of activities, developing a sense of joy and fulfilment in and beyond school years.
- To extend and support students academic learning, fostering well-being.
- To develop a sense of school spirit and community participation.
- To cultivate leadership and excellence through challenge, discipline, resilience, teamwork and creativity.
Pillars and Guiding Statements
To build teamwork, resilience, leadership and school spirit through a balanced programme of competitive sports, as well as recreational and progressive experiences. To encourage skill development, personal growth, inclusion, and a lifelong enjoyment of active and healthy lifestyles.
To offer a wide range of performance experiences in order to develop students’ creativity, talents, imagination, communication skills, and appreciation for the performing arts. Opportunities include theatre productions, concerts, recitals, LAMDA, choirs, orchestras, band ensembles and private instrumental tuition.
To inspire curiosity, creativity and intellectual ambition through opportunities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, design, coding, robotics and academic enrichment. To encourage students to explore real-world problems, develop practical and analytical skills and collaborate on innovative solutions.
To foster personal growth, well-being, creativity, and social responsibility through a wide variety of meaningful and enjoyable experiences. This includes Model United Nations (MUN) and the International Award , strengthening students’ connection with their community and the wider world.
