Alexander Favre, Swiss, English

Alexander is Swiss and English and grew up in Yverdon. He completed a five-year apprenticeship of cabinet making in Lausanne. In addition, he did one year of national service in the Swiss Armed Forces and then worked internationally in diverse construction jobs. Alexander came to work at ISL in 2016 and especially likes the fact that it is a vibrant and successful environment. The students are having fun in lessons and during activities. He describes the community as friendly and positive and his favorite memory is the whole school picture of nearly a thousand people in the gym hall. In his free time, Alexander enjoys cross-country cycling and snowboarding.
