Welcome to a new school year - please find our return to school COVID-19 information here.

ISL encourages families, whenever possible, to use environmentally-friendly methods of transport to arrive at school. The school proposes the use of public transport, carpooling, and the school bus service.

Public transport
We are lucky to have a TL Route 22 bus stop directly in front of our school. It links to Lausanne’s city centre. Students can connect to this bus from several other bus lines, or from the metro, from either the centre of town at Lausanne–Flon, or on several stops further along the route.

We encourage parents to consider carpooling as an environmentally friendly and fun way of driving to and from school. The school provides a Carpool App on the Parent Portal to enable ISL families who live in the same area to link up with each other and arrange their own transport.

School bus service
ISL uses external bus companies to operate a daily bus service for students from six years old and up. The school transport service is not a “door to door” system. Stops are chosen for safety, location, and for the convenience of the greatest number of students.
