“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same…” – A powerful production by the International School of Lausanne’s Performing Arts ASA of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights
In this unit, students explored how music can be used for description. From film and television to concert music and sound installations, music can be used to reflect, enhance, or even transform an idea through sound. For the final project in the unit, each student created their own piece of descriptive music. Students were asked to evoke an image, scene, or emotion by carefully considering the use of musical elements in their compositions.
