Coding Leader

The International School of Lausanne (ISL) is a leading not-for-profit, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School set in the French speaking part of Switzerland. Our school is committed to excellence in education. The school employs approximately 250 members of staff on its campus where we welcome approximately 850 students from over 60 nationalities, from 3 to 18 years of age.

For our After-School Activities Programme, we are seeking an innovative, dynamic and qualified Coding Leader to plan and deliver engaging coding lessons to Primary and Secondary School students using the technology and tools available at the International School of Lausanne.

From August 2025

Lessons will take place 1 to 3 times per week, from 15:45 to 16:45. Specific days will be confirmed prior to the start of the programme.

Desired profile

• Experienced with coding technology (Python highly preferred, LEGO Robotics, etc)
• A recognised qualification within teaching is preferable
• Experienced in teaching students aged 8-11 years
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions which stimulate and motivate students
• Proven track record in the development of progression
• Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness
• Adaptability, flexibility and dynamism
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); any other language is an asset
