Reduce single-use plastic

Making a few easy changes can reduce plastic pollution and make a more sustainable lifestyle.

Why it matters

• One reusable item can replace many disposable ones

• Single-use plastic takes lots of energy and resources to produce

• Small changes add up over time if you keep doing them every day

Simple changes you can do

• Drink from a reusable water bottle

• Use reusable bags instead of plastic ones

• Put food in reusable lunch boxes and containers instead of using plastic wrap

• Use reusable wraps with silicone or beeswax
• Don't use disposable cutlery and use metal cutlery instead
