6 November 2025 by ISL Weekly Newsletter

A team of six students, Daniela, Aiden, Daniel, Gabriella, Ilan, and Omrie, have successfully advanced to the global semi-finals of the prestigious Hult Future Leaders Challenge, held in partnership with the Barça Innovation Hub of FC Barcelona. This year’s challenge focuses on sports technology, encouraging students to develop innovative solutions that enhance athlete performance, health, and wellness. Representing the ISL Impact Hub, the team designed a cutting-edge AI-powered insole capable of analysing foot placement and movement patterns to detect potential injuries and recommend early interventions for athletes. Their project impressed the judges for its creativity, technical feasibility, and potential real-world impact.

The team will now compete against other leading international schools in the semi-finals, presenting their solution to a panel of experts from Hult International Business School and FC Barcelona. This achievement highlights ISL’s growing reputation in innovation and entrepreneurship education, as well as the students’ ability to combine technology, teamwork, and purpose-driven design to solve real-world challenges.
