Join the sustainable transport competition

With this initiative, ISL' Eco Society would like to promote environmental awareness within the community by encouraging staff and students to choose the greenest method of transport possible to get to school.

"We want to promote walking, cycling and the use of public transportation to try and reduce the number of cars arriving on campus and more importantly promote a method which is healthier for the environment."

How the competition works:

• Walking, cycling, scooting, skating, etc will earn participants 3 points per kilometre
• Public transport and school buses will earn participants 1 point per kilometre
• Cars will receive 0 points

From Monday to Friday of next week, Eco Society members will be collecting the data at the north and south building entrances from 08:00 to 08:25. 

The following prizes will be given:

• Best performing student
• Best performing homeroom
• Best performing staff member.
