Learning Reviews are an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss student progress and strategies for further improvement. These short, focused meetings help strengthen the partnership between home and school, ensuring that each student’s learning is well-supported.
Registration via the parent portal will open on Monday 9 November at 09:00 and close on Monday 16 November at 16:00.
Primary School Parent Teacher Conference Guide
Primary School learning reviews, the Parent Teacher Conferences (PTCs) will be conducted online. Meetings with your child’s homeroom teacher are thirteen minutes long. Primary school appointments with specialist teachers are five minutes long. Parents are not expected to book appointments with every specialist teacher. Whilst this is useful in some cases, such as for new students, we recommend parents select subjects where they feel feedback would be particularly valuable. A targeted approach helps reduce meetings and allows more parents to meet with their child’s teacher on this day.
Secondary School Learning Review Guide
Appointments are five minutes. Parents may wish to leave a five-minute gap between each one. Parents do not need to make appointments with all of their child’s teachers. Whilst this is useful in some cases, such as for new students, we recommend parents select subjects where they feel feedback would be particularly valuable. A targeted approach helps reduce meetings and allows more parents to meet with their child’s teacher on this day.
Most teachers have sufficient slots to meet with their students and families. Sometimes, parents may find a teacher has no remaining available slots. In this case, parents should email the teacher directly to find a time outside the day for a 5-minute Microsoft Teams virtual conversation.
