At the same time, we are pleased that the hard work and commitment of the Class of 2025 has been recognised externally in the IB-Schools.com ranking. ISL achieved an average score of 35.7 across a remarkable 96 graduates, making us the highest-ranking IB day school in Switzerland according to IB-Schools.com. Our students have also maintained consistently high average scores over many years, reflecting the strength and depth of our learning community.

Understanding the IB Diploma Results

The IB Diploma at the end of Year 13 marks a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity.

 

Calculated on a 45-point scale, IB Diploma results provide a comprehensive view of a student’s performance. Many of our students achieve outstanding results, with 27% scoring over 40 out of 45 last year - an impressive testament to their exceptional academic commitment. We are equally proud of students who reach the passing score of 24, as it highlights their resilience, dedication, and ability to overcome challenges with determination. This also prepares them for future success.
