IB Results compared to the rest of the world

Year after year, ISL students consistently achieve outstanding IB Diploma Results compared to the rest of the world

Understanding the IB Diploma Results

The IB Diploma at the end of Year 13 marks a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey, reflecting their dedication, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity.

Calculated on a 45-point scale, IB Diploma Results provide an overview of a student’s performance. While many of our students obtain outstanding results – last year 27% of our students obtained a score of more than 40 out of 45, which indicates exceptional academic achievement – we are just as proud of our students who obtain the passing score of 24. This often reflects considerable resilience and dedication, with students having to overcome significant obstacles. This too prepares them for future success.
